Doddinghurst Post Office
The Post Office is a little gem of a village store located on Doddinghurst Road about 400m south of the village centre.The Post Office at the back of the store opens from 9a.m. to 1p.m. Monday to Saturday plus 2p.m. to 5.30p.m on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
The shop itsself is open from 8a.m to 6p.m. from Monday to Saturday. Considering the shop's small size, Brenda and her team sell an amazing variety of items. Products range through food items (including fresh bread, milk and frozen foods) to cleaning products and stationery. There is a good selection of cards, some of the cheapest fresh eggs around Brentwood and outside, often some lovely plants and flowers.
